| Year 2 have begun to plan their own K.U.W. ( History, Geography and Science) this term. It all began with a look inside a mystery box which happened to be full of objects related to the Great Fire of London. As the children explored the objects and discussed them with each I noted down their thoughts, ideas and questions. From this then one area was chosen to focus on and this time it was based around the bread found in the box which was very hard and stale. The children worked in groups to plan their own investigations ranging from what makes bread go hard to which material keeps it soft? Here are some pictures of them carrying out their investigations. We will keep you posted next week and share our findings and conclusions. |
