Active Travel
As we begin a new term, we’re excited to continue supporting healthier, more sustainable journeys to school.
Many schools across Torfaen have made fantastic progress in promoting active travel, helping to improve pupils’ health and wellbeing while also reducing congestion at the school gates.
To support this initiative, we’re pleased to share a 10–15 minute walking distance map of our school. These maps highlight local facilities and show how accessible our school is by foot.
Take a look at the map and see if walking, cycling, or scooting to school could work for your family. Even one or two active journeys a week can make a big difference. Together, we can make active travel a regular part of the school day!
