PTFA

When you join our PTFA, you’re not just giving up your time volunteering or attending an event, you are buying play equipment for our children, enhancing the technology for their classrooms and providing fun learning experiences.

My name is Francesca Edwards and I am the chair of the Our Lady of the Angels PTFA. I have three children currently attending the school.

The PTFA’s goal is to provide funding to help further our children’s learning experiences and opportunities. Our funds benefit all children and come from the fundraising initiatives and events we hold during the school year.
We hold a number of events throughout the year including, school discos, Meet Father Christmas, pre- loved uniform sale, Own Clothes Days, Freeze Pop Friday and the Summer Fete.

This year, through the hard work and dedication of our volunteers and the generosity of the school community, we have been able to purchase some gardening equipment for the benefit of the whole school and outdoor play equipment for our Foundation Phase pupils. We are currently in discussion with teachers to identify how to best use PTFA funds to benefit our KS2 children.

We all have something we can give. Whether that’s time or skill, we would welcome whatever you can offer, no matter how big or small!
If you would like to get involved or know more about the kinds of things we run and the events we hold, please join our Facebook page Our Lady of the Angels PTFA or email us at ourladyoftheangelPTFA@gmail.com.

You can also contact me on 07838160471 or our treasurer, Laura Etheridge on 07811 127318.

Keep an eye out on our Facebook page for details of our next meeting and please try to come along!
