School Admissions
Primary School Applications
Children normally start primary school at the start of the school year in which their fifth birthday falls (i.e. 1 September to 31 August inclusive). The closing date for 2026 September primary school admissions is 15th January 2026 at 12 noon. Any applications received after this date will be classed as a late application.
Mid-Year Applications
If you are thinking of applying to transfer your child during the academic year you are advised to discuss your options with your child’s current headteacher in the first instance in order to endeavour to resolve any issues that may have arisen.
