Class 6 Caribbean Windrush and Black History Celebration

Class 6 took part in a special celebration last week and they contributed to a creative project inspired by the theme: “Welcome & Sharing”, organised by Cwmbran Community Council as part of Black History Month.

 

As part of this event, pupils were encouraged to produce a piece of poetry or artwork reflecting this theme. All submissions were proudly displayed during the celebration in The Parkway Hotel, and will be on display in the Chamber Gallery in The Council House for a month.

 

The Council House is open Mondays to Thursdays: 8.30am – 5.00pm and Fridays: 8.30am – 4.30pm.
