Urdd Cross Country - Summer Series
South Wales Summer Series
A Series of Cross Country Races for Yr 3-6

We are delighted to announce three fantastic opportunities to take part in cross-country races across South Wales this summer!
There will be a race for the following age groups:
Yr.3+4 Girls
Yr.3+4 Boys
Yr.5+6 Girls
Yr 5+6 Boys
Race Dates & Locations:
📍 Race 1: (29/07/25) - Newport – Tredegar Park – NP10 8YW
📍 Race 2: (02/08/25) – Pembrey – Pembrey Country Park – SA16 0EJ
📍 Race 3: (08/08/25) Neath – Gnoll Park – SA11 3EF
📍 Race 4: (15/08/25) – Cardiff – Pontcanna Fields – CF5 2AX
🏅 Individual prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place
Price
£5 per race
Provisional Schedule for weekday Race
- Registration: 16:00 - 17:30
- First races: Start between 18:00
- Finish: By 19:00
- Race distances: Between 1.5km and 2km on varied terrain
Provisional Schedule for weekend Race
- Registration: 09:00 - 10:30
- First races: Start between 11:00
- Finish: By 12:00
- Race distances: Between 1.5km and 2km on varied terrain
