Wear Red Day - Friday, 17th October 2025

We are inviting all pupils to wear red on Friday, 17th October in support of Show Racism the Red Card’s annual Wear Red Day.

This national day of action is an opportunity for schools, workplaces, and individuals across the UK to come together and stand against racism. By wearing red and making a donation, we are helping to raise vital funds for anti-racism education and showing our commitment to equality and inclusion.

Donations payable on School Gateway.  All proceeds will go to Show Racism the Red Card, the UK’s leading anti-racism educational charity.

About Wear Red Day

  • Wear Red Day is now in its 11th year, with over 710,000 people taking part in 2024
  • The campaign’s slogan is: “Change Hearts. Change Minds. Change Lives.”
  • Funds raised help deliver anti-racism workshops to young people and adults in schools, workplaces, and communities
  • The charity was co-founded by former Newcastle United goalkeeper Shaka Hislop, who used his platform to challenge racism after experiencing abuse firsthand

Let’s show our support, wear red with pride, and help make a difference.
