  • Magnificent Maths with Techniquest - For Families

    Tue 31 Jan 2023 Torfaen Adult Community Learning

    Torfaen Adult Community Learning are excited to launch their new partnership with Techniquest, with a series of Magnificent Maths workshops.  These fun sessions are aimed at parents and children who want to have fun and improve their confidence with numbers at the same time.  Booking is essential as places are limited.  Book now to avoid disappointment.

     

    Power Station Sessions - For Pre-Schoolers (ages 3 - 4)

    A fun, free session for parents and pre-school aged children to engage with Maths in small groups. Themed around fun with counting and fractions.

     

    Tuesday 7th February 2023 at The Power Station, St Dials

    (DEP001) Session One - 10:30am - 12:00pm

    (DEP002) Session Two - 1:00pm - 2:30pm

     

     

    Croesyceiliog CEC Sessions - For Pre-Schoolers (ages 3 - 4)

    A fun, free session for parents and pre-school aged children to engage with Maths in small groups. Themed around fun with counting and fractions. 

     

    Tuesday 14th February 2023 at Croesyceiliog Community Education Centre

    (DEC001) Session One - 10:30am - 12:00pm

    (DEC002) Session Two - 1:00pm - 2:30pm

     

    Half Term Activities

    Pontypool CEC Sessions - For KS1 Learners (ages 10 - 12)

    A fun, free session for parents and children aged 10-12 to engage with maths in small groups, themed around buying, building, and racing Lego cars.

     

    Tuesday 21st February 2023 at Pontypool CEC (The Settlement)

    (DES001) Session One - 10:30am - 12:00pm

    (DES002) Session Two - 1:00pm - 2:30pm

     

     

    To book onto any of the above session, please contact the Multiply team on 01633 647822 or email multiply@torfaen.gov.uk quoting the session code.

     

    Spaces are limited and learners will be enrolled on a first come, first served basis.

     

    When enrolling the team will take some details - including asking the age of the child/children you’re bringing along to ensure the target audience is being met.
