Pentecost Mass
Mon 22 May 2023Please take note of this wonderful opportunity offered to us by Fr Daniel
This Pentecost Sunday – 28th May 2023 – we have the opportunity to take up the Pope’s challenge and “look to the whole” in a radical way.
This Pentecost Sunday, the parish will have one celebration of the Mass at the Congress Theatre in the centre of town, bringing together the various communities and different Mass groups which make up our parish, into one celebration of praise to Almighty God.
This is an exciting opportunity for us, as a parish community, to celebrate our unity together. Mass will begin at the Congress Theatre at 10:30am. Please wear something red to the celebration. Children are invited to join the choir on this day, as many voices as possible would be lovely to ensure this is a celebration to remember!
If you are worried about transport getting there, please contact the Parish Office and leave a message at your earliest convenience. Fr. Daniel is happy to provide a mini bus to bring people together.
While there is so much in our world which divides us, let us pray to the Holy Spirit, that our profound unity of identity and mission may transform the face of our parish.
NB – we advise arriving at the Congress Theatre at 10 am in order to be seated for the start of mass, there are no tickets required just yourselves!

CAMHS Online Well-being Workshops
Mon 15 May 2023CAMHS will be running a range of workshops on MS Teams in May Half Term 2023 for all children, young people and their families across Gwent. Please use the booking form/QR code below and make sure to book on at least 24 hours before the session. Parents are welcome to attend with their young person but we will not be able to answer any individual CAMHS queries during the workshop time.

Junior Choir Course
Wed 10 May 2023This May half-term, the Gwent Youth Choir course will be running.
When: 1st and 2nd June
Where: Gwent Music HQ (see poster for address)
Time: 10am to 3pm
Cost: £20
Age Range: 7-12
The repertoire will be from Roald Dahl’s Little Red Riding Hood.

First Holy Communion Donations
Tue 02 May 2023We are asking for donations of First Holy Communion outfits with a view to holding a sale for parents whose children are making their First Holy Communion this year.
If you have an old outfit that is suitable for donation please dig it out this weekend and drop into the box beside the school office.
It may really help out another family and in turn, raise funds for our children.
